SEWS utilises the professional skills of various therapist through The Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC) and Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA). Both these agencies provide therapy services to school aged students with disabilities.
SEWS with the kind donations from both the P&C and SEWS Association have been implementing very successful therapy based services on the school site. Physiotherapist Clare McFarlane works 8 weeks every term one day a week in a consultancy role to support student access and physical programs including fundamental movement skills across the whole school. The School is now trialing both an Occupational Therapist, Jessica Dowler and Speech Therapist, Kokila Sarat. Jessica and Kokila work alternative terms both in a consultative role to support student educational goals and optimal educational outcome acheivement.
